Starting this Saturday, a private sector contractor will begin construction at the Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) as part of the Clarifier 3 rehabilitation project. The work is expected to continue until mid-September.

The "old" plant at the WPCP is temporarily shut down to complete this work, but there will be no impact on wastewater processing for the community. The upgrades will enhance the plant’s performance, efficiency, and capacity, giving operators greater flexibility in managing inflows.
