Orangeville Transit and Parks and Recreation are collaborating to assist Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre aquatics users whose programs have been relocated to the Alder Street Recreation Centre Pools.
Travel from Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre to Alder Street Recreation Centre
Six stops on the Orange Route currently exist within the vicinity of Tony Rose:

- McCarthy Street and Faulkner Street
- Fead Street at Faulkner Street (ODSS)
- ODSS at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre

When the Orange bus passes through the transit hub, riders will remain on the bus straight through to Alder Street Recreation Centre. The route will take approximately 15 minutes to travel between the two rec centres.
Changes for Accessibility, Mobility, and Safety at Alder Street Recreation Centre
The bus stop located on the west side of the main parking lot entrance will be moved to the east side. This will bring riders closer to the facility as well as eliminate the need to cross a busy parking lot entrance. Transit staff are working on moving the bench and bus stop sign.
A bus shelter has been ordered for the stop. The shelter and a concrete pad will be installed at a later date.
Long-term, Orangeville Transit and Parks and Recreation are continuing to work together to invest in further improvements at the Alder Street Recreation Centre. This includes a review of the parking lot and ways to increase safety during high-traffic periods.
