We have received reports of residents receiving calls from a water meter upgrade service that is claiming they will show up the same day to change the resident water meters.

Please note: Installations will only occur once you have booked an appointment through our private sector contractor, Neptune Technology Group.

If you receive a phone call from someone claiming they are coming to upgrade your water meter:

• Confirm their name, organization, and unique ID Number while they are on the phone.

• Contact the Town to confirm whether the installer is registered with us and if there is an appointment scheduled.

Please note you can always call to confirm the legitimacy of any upgrade programs and individuals claiming to carry out the work with the Town.
