We’re making updates to our transit routes starting April 28—all to help make your ride safer and more convenient.

As more people use our fare-free system, we’re adjusting stops to better match rider needs and improve service.

Some stops are being moved to safer locations with better space to wait. Others are shifting slightly to improve route times and make room for more riders.

These changes are all about creating a better experience for everyone who uses Transit.

These changes are separate from the new routes survey from earlier this year.

Here’s what’s changing:

  • Parkview Drive and Highland Drive/Parkview Drive and Morgandale Crescent (stops 64 and 65) combining at Parkview & Newton.
  • Century and Burbank (stop 66) moving to Parkview and Century.
  • Broadway and Bythia Street (stop 17) to be removed.
  • Mill Street and Church Street (stop 55) to be removed.
  • Bythia Street and Lawrence Avenue (stop 59) to be removed.
  • Centennial Road and Dawson Road (stop 77) to be removed.
  • Headwaters Health Care Centre (stop leaving the property) and Rolling Hills Drive (stop 35) to be removed.
  • Orangeville Fairgrounds Shopping Centre (Leons Store, stop 41) to be removed.
  • McCarthy Street and Faulkner Street (stop 26) to be removed.
  • Fead Street and Faulkner Street (stop 27) to be removed.
  • Clara Street and Broadway (stop 30) to be removed.

As part of this project, we are also creating a new, more interactive and easier to read map. The map will launch later this month.
