Back to SearchProposed Pet Shop By-law Amendment - Orangeville Council held a meeting October 5 to permit public input into a proposed pet shop by-law amendment. The proposed by-law amendment proposes to permit pet shops within the Town to only sell dogs or cats that have been obtained from a municipal animal shelter, registered humane society, registered shelter or recognized animal rescue group. Council heard from several members of the public at the meeting. Following public feedback, including an online survey, a report will be presented to Council for a decision.
