Town of Orangeville and police costing consultant part ways

In July of 2019, the Town of Orangeville retained MPM Consulting to complete a study and analysis of policing services models and deliver a report to Council. At this point, there is a different interpretation of requirements for the deliverables and both parties have decided to amicably part ways.

The Town will retain a new consultant to complete the work, and MPM Consulting has agreed to assist with a successful transition.

The Town expects to be able to maintain the original schedule for the Orangeville Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police Service costing review and decision. Orangeville is expected to make a decision by December 10, 2019.
