Please note the following road closures and restrictions for the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, June 3 to June 5, 2022.
- Broadway from Wellington Street west to First Street between 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- The left turn lane (southbound First Street to Broadway) between 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- The left turn lane (eastbound Broadway to Second St.) and the right turn lane (westbound Broadway to Second St.) from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday June 3, 2022.
- Second Street from Broadway to First Avenue between 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- Lane adjacent to the TD Canada Trust parking lot from Second Street to the rear of the building municipally known as 10 Second Street (Aart's Hair Studio) between 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- Mill Street from Broadway to Little York/Armstrong Streets between 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- Lane north of the municipal offices (87 Broadway) from Second Street to the lane east of the building between 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
- First Avenue from Second Street to Third Street between 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and 11: 00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Local residents will be allowed access (parking passes provided).
Additional Instructions:
- Participants are required to adhere to the Town of Orangeville's Noise Bylaw, Fireworks Bylaw and the Liquor License Act.
- Access must be maintained for emergency vehicles and for those coming to or leaving the closed portion of the street for an emergency situation.
- Public Works will provide and erect the appropriate barricades. There is an expectation that the event organizers will maintain them in the form on the approved traffic plan throughout the event (see attached).
