McDonald’s customers, using McDelivery, will receive coupons for treats and some fire safety messages, thanks to a new partnership between McDonald’s Orangeville locations on Riddell Road and at Walmart and Orangeville Fire.
Customers using the McDonald’s delivery app will get their order, along with a postcard coupon offering one free ice cream cone, any size fries, or any size of premium roast coffee. Two versions of the postcard will permit Orangeville Fire to share messages about planning and practising an escape from your residence in an emergency and the importance of working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your home.
The program runs from May 8 to June 12, with coupons being valid at the two restaurant locations until December 31, 2021.
“McDonald's is proud to partner with Orangeville Fire to spread the word about fire safety through our McDelivery service from May 8 to June 12,” said Julian McQueen, General Manager of MacKinnon Restaurants (franchisee of McDonald’s Riddell and Walmart locations). “Let us do the cooking for you through McDelivery -- helping you stay safe and at home.”
“We are very appreciative of Riddell Road and Walmart McDonald’s partnering with Orangeville Fire to help spread important fire safety messaging to their McDelivery customers,” said Fire Chief Ronald Morden.
