Minor Variance Application

An application has been submitted for a minor variance(s) to Zoning By-law No. 22-90 at 40 Centennial Road to allow for construction of additional accessory structures on the property. The property is zoned as “General Industrial (M1) Zone”.
Purpose of the Application:
The application, made under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c P.13, as amended, seeks a minor variance to permit a maximum of twelve silos (accessory structures) along the front side of the main building. Under the current By-Law (Section 19 (14), Zoning By-law 22-90), accessory buildings and structures, excluding security posts, must be located by the rear wall of the building. In 2015, Minor Variance A-20/14 was approved for construction of six solos at the front. Five are currently constructed.

Written comments may be submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment by mail or email by no later than August 27 at 4 p.m. These comments will become public record.
