It’s almost Halloween and the Orangeville Public Library is the place to go for some spooktacular fun. Libraries are for life, and another exciting event has been planned for all ages.

On Thursday, October 26, join Ariel Delurey at 7 p.m. at the Alder Library for a spooktacular evening, diving into the mysterious and hidden world of paranormal investigations. Learn about investigation tools, different types of ghostly sightings and apparitions, how to feel spirit energy, and of course, some spooky ghost stories.

On Monday, October 30, join local creative writer Allison Bothley for an hour of spooky storytelling and writing. Don’t forget to wear your costume for this exciting event. The After School Club is for children ages 7 – 12 and meets at 4:30 p.m. at the Alder Library.

Spooky stories are also planned for the ECCR program. Your little ones are encouraged to wear their costumes and enjoy Halloween stories, songs, and crafts. Adventures in the Park is at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 30 in Village Green Park, 53 Hewitt Street. On Tuesday, October 31, ECRR storytime is at 10:30 a.m. at the Alder Street Recreation Centre.

If baking boo-tiful Halloween treats is your passion, find the latest magazines in the Libby app. The new newsstand feature allows you to easily search magazines to find recipes that are sure to please your family and friends.
