The holidays can be a difficult time for many. The Town of Orangeville is pleased to announce we are serving as a donation location for Toys for Tots, the annual toy drive hosted by the Salvation Army New Hope Community Church.
Until December 9, drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Town Hall to help New Hope meet their goal of ensuring every family has a gift to give this holiday season.
“We have seen how hard the last few years have been on families and individuals in and around Orangeville, with more than ever struggling to make ends meet,” said Mayor Lisa Post. “Toys for Tots is one wonderful way to help those who are struggling feel seen and supported over the holidays. I’d like to encourage everyone who is able to do so to help support this initiative this year.”
Every December, Toys for Tots provides more than 6,000 toys to families around Dufferin County, along with donations and gift cards to families in need. They also assist in providing food for the holidays.
If you’re looking for a way to support members of the community this #GivingTuesday, consider supporting Toys for Tots this year.
Donations can be dropped off from now until December 9 at Town Hall during regular office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
