With only days left before the Walk Off The Earth concert, the Town of Orangeville is pleased to announce additional tickets will be available on Thursday, September 15 at 9 a.m.
The free concert is being brought to Orangeville as part of a contest hosted by SiriusXM Music Town for the province of Ontario.
The general admission tickets will be released tomorrow. Tickets are limited to four per transaction. Any ticket orders over four will be cancelled. Tickets cannot be sold or transferred.
Tickets will be available here: https://www.ticketweb.ca/event/walk-off-the-earth-alder-street-recreation-centre-tickets/12404015?pl=LNSiriusXM
Waiting/Rush Line
There will also be a rush line outside the Alder Recreation Centre, beginning at 5 p.m. This line will be first come, first served, and provides the opportunity for additional residents to attend the concert if space allows. There is no guarantee that people who wait in line are provided tickets to the concert, however any ‘no-show’ tickets will be made available to the rush line at the start of the concert.
As we get closer to the concert, here some things to keep in mind
- There will be an increase of traffic in the area, with many concert attendees coming from out of town.
- If possible, consider walking or biking to the concert as parking is limited to the space at Alder Recreation Centre.
- Be mindful of the additional vehicle and foot traffic around the arena.
- If you have already ordered tickets, more information will be sent to you in the coming days from SiriusXM. The Town of Orangeville cannot troubleshoot issues with tickets.
- The event begins at 8 p.m., however doors will open starting at 7 p.m.
About SiriusXM Music Town
Orangeville was one of four urban centres identified as Ontario finalists, and it was announced earlier this summer that Orangeville was the Ontario winner.
SiriusXM Canada launched Music Town to bring once-in-a-lifetime concerts to communities that don’t typically get the big festivals or artists. SiriusXM has awarded a concert in each of four regions -- western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and eastern Canada – headlined by some of Canada’s biggest names.
