Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my dog to the Block Box?
Well behaved dogs on a leash held by an adult are welcome at the Block Box. If another participant requests space from your dog, please oblige as this is a community program intended first and foremost for Orangeville residents (of the human variety).
As always, please pick up after your pet.
Can I take program materials home for my friends and family?
No. Program materials are intended for community members who are present at the Block Box.
I run a home day care, can I bring the kids in my care to the Block Box?
The Block Box welcomes all Orangeville residents, including those in care at home day cares. Please note that staff are not here to supervise the kids as this remains the responsibility of the day care provider. Please be mindful of community participation at the program, allotment of program materials, and staff efforts to include a wide variety of program-goers.
Are there washroom facilities at the Block Box locations?
Yes. Some locations have washroom facilities on site. Those that do not, have a portable bathroom unit available for use during program times.
What do I do if I see vandalism at the Block Box?
Please call the Recreation line at 519-940-9092 or email [email protected]
