The Orangeville Farmers’ Market re-opens with advance online orders for pick-up on Saturday, May 30. Customers will place their orders by noon on Thursdays for pick-up on Saturdays between 9 and 11 a.m. in the parking lot at 94 Broadway, across from Town Hall. OCPC consents to application to disband Orangeville Police Service

The Ontario Civilian Police Commission (OCPC) has approved the application to disband the Orangeville Police Service. The consent of the OCPC is required under the Police Services Act.

This follows the December 2, 2019 acceptance of an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) costing proposal by Orangeville Council.

Decision made on new transfer point for Orangeville Transit

The Orangeville Transit Task Force made its final recommendations to Orangeville Council this week, with the most significant being the location of a new transfer point. Transition to OPP continues in Orangeville

The Town of Orangeville continues to work with the Ontario Provincial Police to move forward with the transition process, tentatively scheduled for October 1, 2020.
