Road Closure Notice
Part of Alder Street will be closed on August 28 and 29 due to resurfacing work. Please note that the road will reopen overnight on the 28th.
Affected Area:
Alder Street – C-Line to Rayburn Drive
What to Expect:
Emergency vehicles will still have access
Pedestrians can safely walk on either side
Orangeville Transit’s Orange Route will be detoured – stay tuned for route details!

Work is starting on the water main at Rotary Park.
This is the first step towards beginning the Rotary Park Redevelopment project.
How this impacts the public:
- Work begins Monday, Aug. 19
- The Second Ave./Fourth St. Intersection will be closed for the work beginning Aug. 23
- Access to Rotary Park and Idyllwilde Park will be maintained unless otherwise posted
- The playground at Rotary Park will be shut down and removed for the work

Did you know Coyotes are a normal part of our area’s wildlife? Especially during the warmer months, they can be seen in our forested areas or at our local parks.
Coyotes are identifiable by:
- 🐺 Pointy, erect ears
- 🐺 Black-tipped tails
- 🐺 Similar appearance to a slender German Shepherd
Please note: Heightened coyote activity has been reported at Dragonfly Park.

WPCP Clarifier 3 rehabilitation project update

Starting this Saturday, a private sector contractor will begin construction at the Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) as part of the Clarifier 3 rehabilitation project. The work is expected to continue until mid-September.
