Celebrate National Seniors Day with Orangeville Recreation on Oct. 4

Orangeville Recreation is inviting seniors in the community to come and celebrate National Seniors Day with free drop-in swims and fitness programs for those ages 55 and up. 

Throughout the day on October 4, activities will be available at both Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre and Alder Recreation Centre.

Orangeville Transit Hub begins operation on October 2; Route changes and enhanced services to come

The Town of Orangeville’s new Transit Hub, located behind 30 Centre Street, is complete and will launch operations on October 2, Route changes have been made to utilize the Transit Hub on this date, which will create safer, more efficient rider experiences.

The 4th Street location will no longer be used for route changes; however, Orangeville Transit’s ‘Orange Route’ will continue to service the 4th Street stop.

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, the Town of Orangeville is welcoming community feedback around tree protection on private properties.

To accommodate the safe and efficient rehabilitation of the surface asphalt and parking stalls, Broadway in Orangeville will be closed between First Street and Wellington Street on September 27 and 28, 2023
