Casual Crossing Guard

Economic Development, Planning and Innovation Department (Building Division)

We regularly look for highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join the Town of Orangeville as Casual Crossing Guards.  If you are interested, please submit your application to be kept on file for our next round of hiring.

The Casual Crossing Guard will assist all people to safely cross the street before school, at meal breaks and after school on an as-needed basis from September to June each school year. This position is situated in various locations throughout the Town of Orangeville, and preference will be given to those candidates with access to a vehicle.  Successful applicants will be required to work outside in various weather conditions, as well as stand for long periods of time.   

To obtain this position, you will be required to consent to a criminal record check.
