Orangeville Sustainability Action Team (OSAT)

The Orangeville Sustainability Action Team (OSAT) assists in the development, implementation and promotion of environmentally sustainable practices within the Town.

Sustainability Plan

Orangeville is looking to develop a Town-wide sustainability plan. The plan would guide municipal decision-making toward a healthy and sustainable future.

Water conservation.

OSAT
The Sustainability Action Team meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. or at the call of the chair. For further information contact parks@orangeville.ca.

Gardens
The flower bed at Orangeville District Secondary School has been transformed into a pollinator and butterfly garden with new plantings. Milkweed (to attract monarch butterflies) has been planted in a canoe that sits on river rocks, a new bench sits on a cement pad, and a tree sculpture finishes off the new landscaping project.
